Baptism
Are you considering having your child baptized? Oakdale Emory offers a class every other month on a Sunday from 12:15-1:45 p.m. to help you learn more about what it means to have your child baptized, as well as more about Oakdale Emory’s Children’s Ministry. A light lunch is provided, and babysitting is available with advance reservation

We hope to see you at one of our 10:30 a.m. worship gatherings in the Sanctuary or Brigham Hall. Then we can head to the class right after. Don't forget we will serve a light lunch and have childcare!

Baptism Information
1. A document that explains our theological understanding of baptism.
2. A letter explaining our new approach that goes out to parents seeking baptism for their children.
3. Clear guidelines that lay out the responsibility of parents, sponsors, and the Church when baptizing children and others unable to answer for themselves.
4. A form for parents to fill out that gathers all the information we need to perform a child’s baptism.
