United Methodist Men

All men at OEUMC are considered part of the United Methodist Men, whose goal is to serve as the hands and heart of our Lord on Earth. The men are organized to perform service to the greater Olney area and to the world and also to support many projects, including the Appalachia Service Project, Adults in Mission, and Habitat for Humanity. The men enjoy sponsoring a number of church events such as the Sweetheart Dinner in February, and giving away Mother’s Day flowers to all the ladies of the church. Each Christmas, the men assemble and participate in the Living Nativity. To support these various missions, the United Methodist Men host Country Breakfasts on the first Saturday each month from 7:30-9:30 a.m. in Brigham Hall, and sell bagged mulch each spring. |
