Hometown: Blackwood, New Jersey

My Story: As long as I can remember, I have known that God loved me through the example of my parents and my church family. However, my relationship with the Lord did not really become my own until my senior year of high school when a volunteer youth worker took the time to mentor and encourage me. I attended Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky, with the dream of becoming a broadcast journalist. God had other plans for me, though, when He called me to youth ministry during my freshman year through a ministry team that I participated in. I knew from that point on that part of God’s plans for me were to use me to lead teenagers into a deeper relationship with Him. God’s plan led me to Olney where I’ve been for seven years now, and I’m so thankful and blessed to serve at Oakdale Emory and show God’s love to each student He places in my path.
